Gorgeous Rustic Wormy Maple flooring with unique character
Our rustic wormy maple flooring is a very different look that you have to see to appreciate. Unique “worm” holes combined with scattered knots. It will have a lot of light tones with occasional darker planks.
Our rustic wormy maple flooring is a light colored floor with frequent brown streaking make this a one of a kind floor. The amount of “worminess” will vary from plank to plank, adding to the character of this flooring. Our maple flooring is 3/4″ solid plank.
Unique and striking
Here are pictures from a recent project in Brooklyn, NY. The streaking provides a unique look and contrast to the kitchen. Maple flooring is very durable and will add to your homes decor. Due to the variance in light and dark tones it will compliment the interior of many different style homes.
Wormy maple flooring is often referred to as Ambrosia Maple due to the fact that the wormholes are caused by the Ambrosia Beetle. The result is a distinctive gray to brown streaking against the creamy white Maple wood, which gives it a great contrast.
